Water Use Efficiency

Conservation goals, system-efficiency measures, and annual progress reporting.

Program and Goals

Asotin County PUD adopted its first Water Use Efficiency and Water Conservation Plan in response to the Washington State Department of Health Water Use Efficiency Rule. The plan was updated in 2025 with program goals and objectives for 2026 through 2035.

The program combines supply-side work, including leak detection, timely repairs, and accurate metering, with customer education and conservation measures that help reduce water use and operating costs.
